In light of the herpes outbreak at Coachella, Tinder has just launched a new feature for hookups at music festivals.
As of today, Tinder is partnering with AEG Worldwide and Live Nation to release Festival Mode, which is a new feature in the app designed for music festival hookups. This new feature will be implemented at the comprehensive list of participating festivals such as Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Firefly, All Points East, EDC Las Vegas and Orlando, Faster Horses, Hangout, Hard Summer, Parklife, Firefly, British Summer Time, and, of course, Lovebox.

Festival Mode allows users to swipe, match, and chat with others attending festivals before they even arrive. According to Tinder, app activity in 2018 spiked by up to 300 times at Bonnaroo and other festivals.
“No longer are your connections limited to your campsite neighbors or whose shoulders you stood on during the headliner’s performance,” the press release states. “So put down your fringe boots and neon fanny pack because, thanks to Tinder, your festival game is now stronger than ever.”
