It’s been a big day for Elon Musk, who welcomed a baby boy into the world with mom Grimes this morning. Not to be outdone by a baby, Musk also earned some spotlight over the report that he’s planning to shoot a film in outer space with Tom Cruise.
How’s your Tuesday going?
According to Deadline, Musk’s Space X is partnering with NASA and Cruise to make the first narrative film to be shot off-planet.
“I’m hearing that Tom Cruise and Elon Musk’s Space X are working on a project with NASA that would be the first narrative feature film – an action adventure – to be shot in outer space,” Mike Fleming Jr. reports. “It’s not a Mission: Impossible film and no studio is in the mix at this stage but look for more news as I get it. But this is real, albeit in the early stages of liftoff.”

A trio comprised of Tom Cruise, NASA, and Space X is as good as bet as any to get this done. Hopefully it doesn’t result in a fiery crash.
As for Grimes and Musk’s baby… he’s possibly, like actually named X Æ A-12 Musk. Here’s a photo of the young fella with some face tattoos ‘shopped on from dad.
