Thirteen years after the release of 10,000 Days, prog-metal outfit Tool has a new album on the horizon, and they’ve officially confirmed a release date.
For years, the band has toiled with fans over the rocky progress of their fifth record, but over the weekend they finally debuted two new tracks at a Florida show. Last night, Tool played Welcome To Rockville, where they performed new tunes “Invincible” and “Descending,” and then revealed that the album would be out in a few months. Now, they’ve shared on Twitter that the latest installment in Tool’s repertoire will officially hit the shelves on August 30th.
