Tool drummer unveils release date for band’s highly anticipated new album

'That's the plan, anyway'

Tool drummer Danny Carey has just confirmed that their long-awaited new record is finally set for release in the spring after facing numerous delays.

Earlier in January, frontman Maynard James Keenan unveiled that their follow up to 2006’s 10,000 Days was in the last stages of mixing. This weekend, Carey had been pressed for updates by a fan while signing autographs in California, and when the fan asked about news on the forthcoming album, the drummer responded with “Yeah, it’s gonna be out in mid-April. That’s the plan, anyway.”
