Toronto Getting its First Cereal Cafe

First year business management students Saathveehan Bas and Archy Viji got the idea to open a cereal cafe after they spent time expressing their love for cereal by concocting new cereal combinations in their free time.

CerealBox Cafe is simple: pick your cereal and pick your toppings. What stands out, however, is their selection of exclusively American cereals such as Cinnabon, Lucky Charms Chocolate, Coco Pebbles, Krave Chocolate, Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Frosted Flakes, Captain Crunch peanut butter, and Apple Jacks. The rest of CerealBox’s available cereals include Krave original, Frosted Flakes, Fruit Loops, Rice Krispies, and Lucky Charms, all available in Canada.

Combine these yummy childhood favourites with toppings like marshmallows, chocolate chips, and Reese’s cups, and you’ve got yourself a big bowl of deliciousness.

“We don’t have a menu, we want you to create your bowl of cereal yourself, we don’t want to create it for you,” said Viji.

“Just like when you were a little kid, you want to put random stuff in your bowl & decorate it the way you want, just go crazy,” added Bas.

CerealBox Cafe have also teamed up with M&Ms to provide three new colours of the candy exclusive to CerealBox, though the colours have not yet been revealed.

According to Viji and Bas, the Birthday Bowl is a fan favourite, which contains Lucky Charms, whipped cream, sprinkles, and strawberry milk.

The S’mores Bowl is also a popular mix, which combines Kellogg’s Krave S’Mores cereal with Rosebuds, marshmallows, and chocolate sauce. Checkout these two bowls in the video below.
