Toronto Hot Docs introduces ‘High Minded,’ a new screening series made for stoners

Hot Docs has jumped on board the legalization of cannabis by announcing a new documentary-based screening series called “High Minded,” targeted toward stoners.

The series is set to screen films that are visually stimulating and “psychedelic.” They’ll be kicking off the initiative with a screening of Ron Fricke’s Samsara, which takes a look at the biggest visual wonders of the world, primarily revolving around spirituality. While the movie doesn’t offer up any dialogue, it’s jam packed with ocular wonders that aim to broaden your mind’s perspective.

The High Minded series begins on April 9th, and it open to everyone of legal age at the low price of $13. Smoking is not allowed in the theatre, but they will be offering up a snack bar.
