Virtual Reality is all the rage lately, and if you’ve ever tried out a headset, you know why. It was only a matter of time before Toronto jumped on the opportunity to open a theatre dedicated to VR.
Vivid VR will be running out of the Milk Glass Co. art gallery for the months of July and August, with plans to find a permanent residence if all goes well.
The theatre will have a 20 person capacity, providing each viewer with a Samsung Gear VR Headset to experience the immersive storytelling.
Sessions run for 30-40 minutes, and cost $20 which gets you an intro to VR and three short films. Check out the trailer for one of them, Sonar, below.
