Toronto Police look to track down missing trailer in ‘Funnel Cake Express’ heist

The trailer had $60,000 worth of equipment and other items inside

The Toronto Police are hoping to track down a “Funnel Cake Express” trailer, which was stolen from the west end on Friday.
 


The trailer was reportedly last seen when it was towed away by a dark Ford pickup truck near Steeles Avenue West and Fenmar Drive, according to the police. The “Funnel Cake Express” trailer is an operational vehicle that is 3.7 metres by 1.8 metres. Spokesperson Katrina Arrogante told CBC News that it is believed to have about $60,000 worth of items inside, such as refrigerators and cooking equpiment.

The trailer’s license plate is believed to be J4434Z, and anyone with information should contact police at 416-808-3100 or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477.
