Baltimore hardcore five piece Turnstile took to NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) concert series, where they performed seven GLOW ON tracks.
The new set sees Turnstile taking their mosh-pit-heavy sound and converting it into a blistering, 17-minute show. Throughout the clip, the band performs seven GLOW ON tracks in front of an art installation from John Scharbach. Filmed at drummer Daniel Fang’s house, the band practice some serious restraint in their performance. Ultimately, they strip down their sound for a softer approach that fits the tone of Tiny Desk.
Turnstile opened their Tiny Desk (Home) Concert with “ENDLESS” before launching into “UNDERWATER BOI,” “BLACKOUT,” and “DON’T PLAY.” They then launched into some GLOW ON favourites like “Mystery,” “T.L.C. (TURNSTILE LOVE CONNECTION),” and “Alien Love Call.”

GLOW ON appeared on our list of the Best Albums of 2021.
“In the hardcore crossover event of the year, Baltimore, Maryland-based five piece Turnstile delivered one of the year’s best,” our description of GLOW ON read. “Never diverting from their hardcore origins, the group offers mosh pit ragers with thrashing guitar and explosive energy. However, the record sees Turnstile crafting complex creative experimentation with bold piano-led intros, dreamy synth sequences and lush, soaring vocals.”
In December, Turnstile made their late night debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Turnstile brought their rowdy energy to the stage to perform “Mystery” and “TLC.” The band stayed in motion through the entirety of the performance. Bouncing around beneath pink lighting, Turnstile deliver a raucous rendition of the tunes.
