Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan, Jr. have been accused of shooting Jay in his studio in Queens, while also trafficking drugs, law enforcement sources told The New York Times. Washington is currently serving time in prison for robbery charges, while Jordan was arrested on Sunday.
Washington and Jordan have been considered suspects for the murder for a long time, and Washington admitted he had been in the studio on the day of Jay’s death. Washington also told investigators that he saw Karl Jordan and his son Karl Jordan Jr enter the studio shortly before shots were fired.
