This micro-neighbourhood nestled on the edge of Riverdale is becoming a new hot spot! You don’t have to worry about there not being a place to eat; you’re East of Chinatown and Little India! There’s more than enough places for food and retail, plus low housing costs. You better act quick though, it won’t stay cheap for long.

This quaint spot near the Upper Beaches has had an high amount of inexpensive condos on sale in their main area, and they’re selling quick. Not only is a cute place to hang out with friends and see the Bluffs, it also home to some insta-worthy coffee shops!

The Junction is home to everything you need. You feel like shopping? Check out their street-side shops! Feel like a drink? Head over to one of their four micro-breweries! Whether you’re settling down or finding a new part of the city to explore, the Junction Triangle can’t go unseen.

The Danforth Village a commuting mecca – subway and streetcar access are literally at your finger tips! It also helps that rent housing prices are pretty affordable, I mean who doesn’t want to live near Greektown?


Any students looking for a spot to live? Look no further, this is a super trendy and filled with student housing! Not only are you close to the Distillery District and the waterfront, it’s home to affordable housing options and an amazing 18-acre park! What more could you want?

Head to this area and you’ll see what is has to offer. It holds The Stock Yards Village outdoor mall, cute housing, and one of the cities most efficient transit routes. If that’s not enough for you, check out their multiple walking trails to see their gorgeous, hidden ravine. It’s a secret location so…you didn’t hear it from us…

This place may be a little bit far for some, but it’s totally worth it for their scenic neighbourhood and amazing condo prices! With new shops and resto’s being continually added, there’s not a doubt this will become an location of interest soon.

The housing prices can’t be beat here! Not only is the price right, but all the amenities are within reach: Danforth Avenue, Little India, and even a community park where you’ll see a ton of puppies running free at the off-leash zone! It’s close enough to TTC access so traveling to cute spots in Leslieville are super easy!

Sure it’s a little out of the way if you’re commuting downtown, but with the arrival of Union’s UP Express, your travel time from this up and coming neighbourhood won’t take you more than a half hour! Their rent and retail home pricing is not the only thing that you’ll love – they have a cool retail strip you will soon become obsessed with!


Yes, Riverdale has the rep of being a bit pricey, but the south side is where it’s at. With affordable semi’s and row houses, you can’t go wrong. There’s also a lot to do around here, whether you want to try something new or cozy up to a familiar chain. Who doesn’t want to live in a neighbourhood with an iconic name like Riverdale?!
