Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Keonig has interviewed Foster The People about their Jeffrey Epstein conspiracy theory after frontman Mark Foster claimed it was a cover up on Twitter.
Koenig brought Foster on his Beats 1 show Time Crisis, where they discussed the theory further. “Look, I’m not a forensics expert – I put out a fucking tweet,” Foster says in the clip. “You know what I mean? Just being a musician that wanted to put out a tweet and start a public discourse about this guy. But you look at the photo, and it’s not the same guy!”
there is no QUESTION the government is behind the #EpsteinSuicideCoverUp . Research Attorney General Bill Barr and his father’s ties with Jeffrey Epstein. Barr helped broker the west palm beach “deal” that kept Epstein away from a life sentence in federal prison 🤮

The two indie musicians then go on to have a lengthy discussion about other theories like the JFK Assassination and 9/11 before Koenig closes asking Foster what he wanted fans to take away from his tweets. “I guess I would say that I feel like we’re living in an age of misinformation,” Foster responds. “People need to do their own research and dig and not believe everything you hear.”
