Although Vans Warped Tour had announced that last year would be its final run, in 2018, the festival announced that they’d be back this summer for a handful of 25th anniversary celebrations in the United States.
The festival will be boasting its usual summer vibrancy, but on a much larger scale, with a set up in only three different cities on three separate dates. The festivals will feature more than 50 bands across several stages, extreme sports, and an art exhibit made in partnership with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame called Forever Warped: 25 Years of Vans Warped Tour.
The first stop of Vans Warped Tour 2019 will be in Cleveland on June 8th, featuring a first glimpse at the comprehensive art exhibition that contains instruments played by members of Fall Out Boy, No Doubt, Rancid, and Reel Big Fish, in addition to stage clothing from Ice-T and Joan Jett. There will also be an opening concert with bands from throughout Warped Tour history.

On June 29th and 30th, Warped Tour will take place in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and finally, the celebrations will be rounded out on July 20th and 21st in Mountain View, California at the Shoreline Ampitheatre.
“With the [Vans Warped Tour] 25th Anniversary events, we want to bring the atmosphere of a classic Warped Tour show, but on a scale that our fans simply could not get with a national tour,” Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman explained in a statement. “The bands, the special attractions, everything – we want to bring back elements that have made the Warped Tour, Warped Tour, over the past 25 years.”
Presale tickets are set to go on sale on February 25th, and full list of bands will be announced on March 1st.
