Video: Franz Ferdinand “Evil Eye”

Franz Ferdinand goes low-budget horror movie in their new video for "Evil Eye"

A little early for Halloween, Franz Ferdinand has a gory new video for “Evil Eye” from their latest album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Actions. Frontman Alex Kapranos has a moustache in what looks like a B-list Italian horror film from the ‘70s, with eyeballs floating in pools, hacking of limbs, and lots of fake blood and guts.

The morbidly humourous video is directed by Diane Martel, who is also responsible for Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop.”
