Beastie Boys – “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)”

After announcing a forthcoming photo book, Spike Jonze has directed Beastie Boys Story, a new documentary about the legendary trio. The film, which Jonze wrote alongside surviving group members Adam Horovitz and Mike Diamond, is set to arrive at select IMAX theatres and on Apple TV+ in April. The forthcoming documentary shares the same title as the stage show Jonze, Horovitz, and Diamond put on last year, and it also has roots in Beastie Boys Book.
 

Stevie Nicks – “Edge of Seventeen”

Stevie Nicks is set to play Governor’s Ball this year. The festival, which takes place from June 5th to June 7th in New York City, will see performances from renowned acts like Tame Impala, Missy Elliott, Flume, Vampire Weekend Stevie Nicks, Solange, Miley Cyrus, Portugal. The Man, Foals, Khruangbin, Carly Rae Jepsen, Steve Lacy, Of Monsters And Men, MUNA, and many more!
 

Depeche Mode – “Enjoy The Silence”

Depeche Mode is joining the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the Rock Hall Class of 2020. They are joining the likes of fellow Class Members Nine Inch Nails, Whitney Houston, The Doobie Brothers, The Notorious B.I.G., and T-Rex. Alongside these artists, record producer Jon Landau and entertainment executive Irving Azoff are the recipients of the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
 

Pavement – “Cut Your Hair”

Pavement are on the lineup for Primavera Sound 2020. The festival, which takes place in Barcelona from June 3rd to 7th, is set to feature performances from well-known acts like Lana Del Rey, The Strokes, The National, Beck, Brockhampton, Tyler, The Creator, Bikini Kill, King Princess, Iggy Pop, King Gizzard & the Wizard Lizard, Caribou, Maggie Rogers, and more.
 

The Clash – “Clampdown”

The Clash were honoured with a tribute concert at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood on January 11th, where Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan, MC5’s Wayne Kramer, The Wallflowers’ Jakob Dylan, Butch Walker, and Fred Armisen all honoured the 40th anniversary of their third record, London Calling. McKagan delivered a rowdy performance of “Clampdown,” which you can check out here.
