Depeche Mode – “Strangelove”

A new trailer for Other Music has arrived, and the documentary is set to feature Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore alongside TV On the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe, Jason Schwartzman, The National’s Matt Berninger, Janeane Garogalo, and Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig. The forthcoming documentary revolves around the New York City record store that helped launch indie music in the 2000’s. Check out the trailer here.

Lou Reed – “Walk On The Wild Side”

Iggy Pop has dropped a stark new video for his Free track, “We Are The People,” which is inspired by Lou Reed. The minimal clip sees Pop staring directly into the camera, as he sings the words to the track, reciting lines like, “We are the victims of the untold manifesto of the lack of depth.” The video fits the track perfectly, as the powerful song was derived from a poem written by Lou Reed in 1970, and today would have been his 78th birthday. Watch the video here.

The Go-Go’s – “Vacation”

The Go-Go’s are set to perform at the Foo Fighters’ Fourth of July D.C. Jam Festival. The event, which takes place on July 4th in Landover, Maryland is set to be a celebration of the band’s 25th anniversary, and on top of Foo Fighters themselves, it will feature performances from renowned acts like Chris Stapleton, Pharrell, Band Of Horses, and more. Check out the full lineup here.
