The latest trailer for Disney’s upcoming live-action reboot of Aladdin has arrived, and Will Smith makes his highly anticipated debut as Genie.

The new clip features the maniacal Jafar at the Cave of Wonders alongside Aladdin, a colourful parade in Agrabah, and Aladdin rubbing the magical lamp to introduce the mystical Genie. Smith is entirely blue, with a ponytail topping his shaved head, but the first look at the iconic character has sparked a new meme. Fans couldn’t help but notice Genie’s resemblance to other notoriously blue characters like Tobias Funke in Arrested Development or a character in Avatar.
