Watch: A new trailer for Dave Grohl and his mother Virginia’s TV show ‘From Cradle To Stage’ is here

'From Cradle To Stage' premieres on May 6 on Paramount+

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has been quite busy over the last few months, announcing a new book and a documentary about tour van life. Now, Grohl and his mother Virginia have shared a trailer for their forthcoming television show, From Cradle To Stage.

The unscripted series is based on Virginia Grohl’s 2017 book of the same name, and it’s set to look at the relationship between musicians and their mothers. According to Deadline, the series will feature big name musicians like Tom Morello, Rush’s Geddy Lee, Miranda Lambert, Pharrell, Brandi Carlile, and Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds.

“I believe that the relationship between a musician and their mother is so important because it’s the foundation of their understanding of love, which is surely every artist’s greatest muse,” Grohl explains of the series. “Having the opportunity to travel the country and tell the stories of these amazing women behind the curtain not only shed some light on the music that they inspired, but also made me appreciate the love that I was given from my own mother, my best friend. It goes without saying that we are all indebted to the women who have given us life. For without them, there would be no music.”
