Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin has been working on creating a new video game called Elden Ring, and today a trailer for it has been released.
The game was announced at Microsoft’s E3 2019 keynote address, where it was unveiled that Martin is working with FromSoftware, which created Dark Souls, on Elden Ring. The new collaboration is set to be a dark fantasy, with a similar tone to Dark Souls. The Hidetaka Miyazaki-directed video game is set to be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and is expected to be released in 2020.
“Building the world of Elden Ring with Miyazaki-san and his team was a treat,” Martin explained, according to NME. “The graphics, mythos, and action-RPG gameplay will deliver an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait for people to see what Elden Ring has in store for them.”
