Netflix is set to unveil Making a Murderer Part 2 on October 19. Today, the streaming giant has released a trailer for the upcoming continuation of the true-crime series.
The second chapter will focus on Steven Avery and his co-defendant and nephew Brendan Dassey and the post-conviction process, exploring “the emotional toll the process takes on all involved.” Avery was found guilty along with his nephew Dassey, of the murder of Teresa Halbach in 2005. The first part of the documentary showed many contradictions in the prosecutor’s case and prompted many fans of the show calling for Avery and Dassey’s release.
