After releasing their new single “Left Hand Free”, Alt-J put their focus back into the more Alt-J-sounding track, “Hunger of the Pine”. The trio released a new video that is not for the faint of heart. In what looks to be some sort of -type world, a boy runs as arrows roar towards him. The video’s pace pairs with the song perfectly and captures the emotional changes in both tempo and lyrics.
