Earlier this year, Neil Young and Crazy Horse recorded their first album since 2012’s Psychedelic Pill at Studio in the Clouds in Colorado. Now, a clip from their forthcoming film Mountaintop has arrived.
“Witness the laughter, tensions, crusty attitudes, and love of a rock & roll band that’s been together for 50 years as they share their passion, first and foremost… for the music,” an official description of the film explains.
The new clip sees Young and Crazy Horse playing through one of their new tracks, “Truth Kills.” While the song doesn’t come from their forthcoming record, it is a bonus 7-inch single as a B-Side to “Rainbow of Colors.” While playing along to the track, the clip comes interspersed with shots of the band performing in studio, as Young sits, playing guitar behind a bright stage light.

Their forthcoming collaborative album drops this Friday.
