The King is back again with another miniseries in the works. The prolific author of horror, Stephen King, has written all eight episodes for Lisey’s Story, the Apple TV+ miniseries that is set to arrive June 4th.
The series is an adaptation of King’s novel of the same name and will be directed by Pablo Larrain and produced by the iconic J.J. Abrams.
Lisey’s Story follows Lisey Landon, a widow (played by Julianne Moore) who gets caught in a deadly sequence of events involving her late novelist husband (Clive Owen). King has stated himself that this frightening drama is “the one I love best” and labels the new series a “passion project”.
