Oxnard-born rapper Anderson .Paak performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, where he started the performance of “Make It Better” on his own and then proceeded to be accompanied by soul legend Smokey Robinson.
He opened the performance by running through the first verse and chorus, until Smokey Robinson walked on stage and got introduced by the rapper. Robinson is featured on the studio version of “Make it Better,” which was a standout from .Paak’s Motown inspired 2019 LP Ventura. The two artists gave a stellar performance full of soul and complete unity.
