Twenty-year-old Aurora Aksnes has been writing music since the age of six, and quietly released her first official single in 2013. But it didn’t take long until she was signed, and within a couple short years she already had a Katy-Perry-approved single reaching over 1 million streams.
Her unique voice and style of performing stands out, while also fitting in nicely alongside fellow Scandinavian singers like Lykke Li or First Aid Kit.
Her first full-length album All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend came out just last March. She’s said that this album is “the first album of many” that she has planned, as well as having written over 1,000 songs and poems.
