Billie Eilish has just dropped a new live video for “wish you were gay,” which sees the young horror pop artist creating deep connections with her fans.

The clip follows Eilish performing the track as fans sing along, wait in lines outside of venues, and talk about Eilish’s impact, stating things like, “Her lyrics really relate to our generation more than like any artist I’ve heard before.” The singer-songwriter grooves to the silky, powerfully building tune as the video comes interspersed with clips of her posing for photos with fans, laughing, and soaking in ice baths.

“I wrote this song about a guy that really was not interested in me and it made me feel horrible, so the song is called ‘wish you were gay'” she explained in an Instagram story last year. “And that’s so not meant to be offensive in any way. It doesn’t mean that I wish he was like… it literally means I wish he was gay so that he didn’t like me for an actual reason, instead of the fact that he didn’t like me.”
