Billie Eilish and Finneas have participated in the “Pay It Forward” campaign, live-streaming a full performance from home.
The sibling pair took part in a whopping 50-minute set, where Eilish performed tracks from her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and discussed the pandemic. Before launching into a performance of “Ilomilo,” Eilish also talked about the inspiration behind the track.
“It’s about losing somebody, or being afraid of losing somebody and it kind of being inevitable,” Eilish explains. “The feeling of losing anything, even like your keys or your phone, it feels horrible and terrifying. Especially when you lose a person, it’s a horrible feeling, so it’s the feeling of being afraid and it happening anyway.”
