Billie Eilish performed her first-ever NPR Tiny Desk concert, delivering an intimate at-home version of the series with her brother and collaborator, FINNEAS.
While it may appear that Eilish and her brother are performing from the distinctive Tiny Desk office, Eilish revealed that the backdrop was a very convincing cardboard cutout. “But it’s still real, it’s just not in-person real,” Eilish quips.
The performance saw Eilish and FINNEAS delivering stunning renditions of “my future” and “everything i wanted.” “Quarantine’s been weird,” Eilish says between tracks. “I know you all feel the same, we don’t know how long it’s going to go. There’s barely anything that feels like there’s any hope in, but I think the future is something to be super hopeful in.”
