Billie Eilish is set to release her sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, on July 30th, and last night (May 10th), she took to A Late Show with Stephen Colbert to deliver a cinematic performance of the album’s lead single, “Your Power.”
The performance saw Eilish and her brother Finneas performing the intimate track on a stage in the middle of a desert, offering up a cool, captivating rendition of “Your Power” while matching the colour scheme from the song’s music video. Eilish’s unbelievable falsettos and silky vocals take the lead in this stripped down performance.
In addition to playing the track, Eilish took part in an interview with Colbert where she revealed that she’d been platinum blonde for longer than fans new, wearing a black-and-green wig for her appearance on Colbert in February. “I knew it would have these processing periods where it would look insane, and I didn’t want to look insane,” Eilish explains. “But I needed something quick – so I literally ordered a Billie Eilish halloween costume wig on Amazon.”
