Billie Eilish has discussed the making of her recent single “everything I wanted” in a new video.
The clip, which is a collaboration with Beats by Dr. Dre, gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the track with her brother, Finneas. The video comes packed with shots of the pair recording the song, and eventually sharing it with their mother, who cries when hearing it.
“Finneas came up with, ‘As long as I’m here, no one can hurt you.’ We decided to make it about our relationship and how we help each other and like deal with things together,” Eilish explains. “It just completely like paved the way for the rest of the song.”
