Watch: Broken Social Scene Debuts “Gonna Get Better” at Pitchfork Music Festival

Only a few days after formally announcing that the band is working on a new record, Broken Social Scene took to Pitchfork Music Festival to debut a brand new song.

Sung by the band’s new vocalist Ariel Engle, the wife of longtime BSS member Andrew Whiteman, “Gunna Get Better” is a jazzy, slow jam, also featuring Star’s Amy Milan on back up vocal duty. The performance was professionally shot and recorded at the Chicago festival, along with a run through of “Anthems For A Seventeen Year Old Girl” and “Cause = Time”.
