Cat Clyde and Jeremie Albino have announced a new collaborative album called Blue Blue Blue, which is set for release on May 21st via Cinematic Music Group and Majesticsilk. As part of the announcement, they’ve shared a video for their new single, “Been Worryin’.”
The Canadian duo fuse together their complimentary elements of folk, blues, Americana, and soul for a nostalgic set of intimate tracks. The beautiful new track, “Been Worryin’,” is a perfect example of that, with bluesy acoustic guitar lines and twangy, throaty vocals. The accompanying video comes packed with nostalgic shots of the duo making their way through a forest, shot with a vintage, retro effect.
“I had been working on this original song with a Big Bill Broonzy vibe and I took it to Cat to see if we could work on it together,” Albino explains of the track. “She loved the tune and helped with some really great lyrics before we hit the studio. We love this tune cause the final version ended up being really close to the original demo which to me always means – there’s some kinda magic in a song.”

“It’s nice to share that love of listening to something a hundred times and never getting sick of it,” Clyde explains of their musical inspirations. “As a musician you travel around a lot and meet a lot of people, but when you meet someone that has a hunger for the same type of musical food, it’s really special.”
Blue Blue Blue will feature two original songs, “Been Worryin'” and “Tried and Cried,” alongside 7 covers of some of their favourite artists.
