Watch: Chris Cornell’s son stars in video for posthumous track ‘When Bad Does Good’

The previously unreleased track is off of today's 'Chris Cornell' box set

Today, a career spanning Chris Cornell box set simply titled Chris Cornell has been released, which includes 11 previously unreleased tracks, including “When Bad Does Good.” The new tune was released along with a video starring Cornell’s son, Christopher Cornell Jr.

“When Bad Does Good” was found by Cornell’s wife, Vicky, after her husband’s friend, Josh Brolin, reminded her of the track. In the video, Cornell Jr. portrays the young version of the musician as a paper boy in Seattle.

“For me this video represents my dad and all the art he created throughout his live and what his music meant then and what it means now,” Cornell Jr. explains in a statement. “Not just to me and my family, but the city of Seattle and all of his fans.”

The collection also includes some of the iconic musician’s biggest hits, including tracks from Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple of the Dog.
