Watch: Conan O’Brien’s Cover Of “Seven Nation Army” For U.S. Troops

Conan always does things a little bit differently. So leave it to the late night host to change one of the most recognizable rock songs to something a little bit more relevant to American troops stationed overseas.

In November, Conan and Michelle Obama travelled to the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar to visit the 11,000 troops stationed there.

Conan filmed a special episode of his late-night television show there, which was released last month. On the TeamCoco website he released extras from his trip, including his version of The White Stripes “Seven Nation Army”.

Conan played alongside the talented Grace Potter, applying more “fitting” lyrics to the troops, talking about things like Sharia Law and not so great food. Watch this performance below.
