Watch: Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers’ Better Oblivion Community Center covers Death Cab for Cutie’s ‘Title and Registration’

Off of Death Cab's seminal album 'Transatlanticism'

While out on tour, Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers’ Better Oblivion Community Center have been performing a variety of covers, such as The Killers’ “Human”. Yesterday, BOCC offered up their own twist on the classic Death Cab for Cutie track “Title and Registration” in Seattle.

“Title and Registration” is a highlight off of Death Cab’s legendary 2003 album, Transatlanticism, and Oberst and Bridgers definitely did the original justice with their performance. Their rendition is pretty straightforward, as Bridgers strums a soft guitar line and their vocals intertwine with a powerful, yet tender sort of vulnerability.
