The upcoming movie about David Bowie called Stardust has just released its first clip ahead of a private online launch. The film was originally supposed to be premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival this week, but the festival was postponed indefinitely in early March.
The movie follows Bowie, played by Johnny Flynn, as he visits the U.S. for the first time in 1971 and how he ended up creating the persona Ziggy Stardust.
In the clip, a publicist at Mercury Records named Rob Oberman, played by Marc Maron, reassures a worried Bowie that he’s going to be very successful star. “All it takes is one believer to change the world, right? And we’ve got two. You believe in yourself, don’t you?” asks Oberman.
