Toronto synth-pop outfit Diana broke out in 2013 with their debut record Perpetual Surrender. Despite being a brand new band that started as a studio project and recording the record in just two weeks, their first single blew up on Soundcloud and made them one of the most buzz-worthy Canadian indie bands of 2013.
They’ve taken their time on their sophomore effort, Familiar Touch, released last month. They’ve continued to mature their sound, and have spent the last few years developing together as musicians.
Watch Diana perform two songs from Familiar Touch, “Helpless” and “What You Get”, live at Indie88 in the Collective Arts Black Box.
