Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros frontman Alex Ebert is back with a psychedelic music video for his new track “Fluid” off of his upcoming solo album I v I, out January 31st.
The clip rings of an LSD-induced trip with Ebert flying through space and dancing in front of multiplying cells, insects feeding and plants blooming. Wearing funky leopard-print pants and a flower-patterned suit, Ebert passionately plays the saxophone as the surreal images change frequently on the green screen.
“I v I tells a conceptual narrative exploring the many facets of human experience, through the lens of a deteriorating relationship and the eventual phoenix-like rise back into the warmth of a new love,” Ebert said in a statement.

I v I drops this Friday.
