Watch: Foo Fighters cover Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’ with 10-year-old fan

Dave Grohl even gave his guitar to the young musician

On Friday, the Foo Fighters played a show in Kansas City, Missouri where Dave Grohl invited a young fan onstage to play guitar in a cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.”

At the concert, Grohl asks the 10 year old fan, Collier Cash Rule, what songs he knew on guitar, to which Collier responded, “I know a lot of Metallica songs.”

The young guitar player launched into the opening riff of “Enter Sandman.” Mid-song, Grohl asked Collier if he knew any other songs, and Collier responded with the riff to Metallica’s “Welcome Home (Sanitarium).” At the end of the performance, Grohl gave his little fan the ultimate gift: one of his own guitars.
