Watch: Foo Fighters deliver debut live performance of ‘Waiting on a War’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Their 10th studio album 'Medicine At Midnight' drops February 5

The Foo Fighters took to Jimmy Kimmel Live! on January 14th, where they delivered the debut live performance of their recent single “Waiting on a War.”

The performance comes after the alternative giants dropped their new track, which Dave Grohl wrote for his daughter, Harper, yesterday (January 14th).

“Last fall, as I was driving my daughter to school, she turned to me and asked, ‘Daddy, is there going to be a war?’ My heart sank as I realized that she was now living under the same dark cloud that I had felt 40 years ago,” Grohl explains. “I wrote ‘Waiting on a War’ that day. Every day waiting for the sky to fall.”
