Famous duo Hall & Oates are getting geared up for their summer tour.
The duo sought out help from their friends, the Blue Jean Committee, to announce the upcoming tour. The Blue Jean Committee is a fictitious soft-rock band featuring two well-known comedians, Fred Armisen and Bill Hader. The history of the band was recently featured on IFC’s Documentary Now!
The video starts with shameless self-promotion and then the band shares their memories of going on tour with Hall & Oates. The Blue Jean Committee recalls when they used to make fun of the duo because they’re from Philadelphia. The two bands still have tension because Hall & Oates left them in the dust, they say.
