Watch: Fucked Up offshoot Jade Hairpins share video for new track ‘(Don’t Break My) Devotion’

Jade Hairpins' debut album 'Harmony Avenue' drops on May 29

Fucked Up offshoot Jade Hairpins have shared a video for their new single “(Don’t Break My) Devotion.”

According to bandleader Jonah Falco, the song is a “technicolor burst through the plastic age, outlying the exhaustion of bad decisions and failures to communicate, all wrapped up in a cornucopia of bubblegum, new wave, disco, and post-punk.”

The accompanying video, which was directed by the band’s very own Mike Haliechuk, sees the group’s full lineup for the first time taking up a perfectly peculiar conversation made up of instructions, as meaning and physical language get mismatched, making for a set of comedically strange dance moves.
