Watch: Green Day share some punk rock aerobics in video for new track ‘Here Comes the Shock’

It premiered as part of the National Hockey League's outdoor games in Lake Tahoe

Green Day have made their return with their first new music since the release of 2020’s Father of All…: a video for their new track, “Here Comes The Shock.”

The new track premiered as part of the National Hockey League’s outdoor games in Lake Tahoe. “Here Comes The Shock” sees the rock trio delivering motivational lyrics atop a raucous, fast-paced instrumental, with lines like, “We got the numbers/ Gonna rumble in the street/ We’re screaming bloody murder/ We’re gonna take it to the grave.”

The accompanying video sees Green Day whipping fans into shape, as “Punk Rock Aerobics” co-founder Hilken Mancini leads viewers through a series of punk-inspired moves like Iggy’s punch, the whack jack, you be the star air guitar, pogo, and more.
