HAIM have been sharing teasers and snippets of a mysterious video called Valentine, and today the California trio have finally shared the exciting new project.
The 15-minute behind-the-scenes video known as Valentine follows the band’s recording process prior to the release of their new album Something To Tell You. The short film shares intimate studio moments for three of the album’s songs: “Right Now,” “Something To Tell You,” and “Nothing’s Wrong.”
Valentine was directed by Boogie Nights’ Paul Thomas Anderson and named after the Valentine Recording Studios in LA, which was reopened in January 2016 after being closed for over 30 years. In a tweet that was shared by the band this morning, the HAIM sisters proclaimed their love for California, Valentine Studios, and Boogie Nights. All three ultimately led to this short film being made.
