Watch: Harvey Weinstein Leaves Police Station in Handcuffs to Face Rape Charges

Weinstein arrested on rape, criminal sex act, sex abuse and sexual misconduct charges

Disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein turned himself into a New York City police precinct early Friday morning. Police indicated that Weinstein was arrested on rape, criminal sex act, sex abuse and sexual misconduct charges stemming from encounters with two women.

Weinstein was led away from the police station in handcuffs before 9 a.m. ET Friday. He will face charges in a Manhattan court.

The New York Times reports that some charges Weinstein faces relate to claims brought forth by Lucia Evans. Dozens of women came forward in late 2017 with stories of sexual misconduct involving Weinstein.

Weinstein has denied all allegations thus far.
