Since the release of the heart wrenching Hey Love back in March, folk legend Hayden has been busy touring coast to coast with Dan Mangan and finishing up a tour supporting Bahamas. If you haven’t yet heard the new album, you should watch Hayden’s Massey Hall performance from February which been released today, — which is posted above.
Already on several best of 2015 lists including the A.V. Club and NPR, Hayden’s Hey Love is a moving collection of songs that move across the spectrum of love and affection. Recorded in his studio in Toronto, the follow up to 2013’s JUNO Award-nominated Us Alone has been roused as some of Hayden’s best work yet.
