Watch: Hollerado unveils video for ‘Time on Earth,’ extends farewell tour

Catch Hollerado for the last time on December 11, 12 and 13 at the Danforth

Canadian indie band from Ottawa, Hollerado is retiring after being together for over 12 years, and today they’ve released a video for “Time on Earth” off of their final album, Retaliation Vacation.

The video for “Time on Earth” sees a fight between an old man and an alien. This concept was a life-long fantasy for the band, as it is something they have always wanted to bring to life.

“We’ve been wanting to make this video our whole career,” the band explains in a statement. “A CGI breakdance battle between an old man, and a gross old man alien. Admittedly a cliché, yes, but with retirement fast approaching we were running out of time to portray our take on this timeless tale. Unlike versions of this video you’ve seen in the past, we’ve added a ‘milkshake toss’ as a new element to this dusty classic.”

The band has decided to extend the farewell tour by adding a number of Canadian and US dates for the fall, with the tour concluding in Toronto on December 11th, 12th and 13th at the Danforth Music Hall.
