Toronto duo Ice Cream, made up of Carlyn Bezic and Amanda Crist, have dropped a video for their new single, “Peanut Butter.”

“Peanut Butter” is an anthemic track about the flaws of modernity, soundtracked by perfectly grungy vocals, a gritty guitar line, and a catchy cowbell-based beat. The clip, which was directed, shot, and edited by MISS WORLD, is a glitchy collection of clips that sees the pair performing along to the track in a collage-like sequence.

“I wrote ‘Peanut Butter’ about a man I served when I was bartending, who thought that ordering an expensive scotch meant he could treat me and my coworkers like dirt,” Bezic explains in a statement. “That interaction felt like a microcosm of the world at large: that those with the most power and the most money are, underneath it all, spoiled babies. Peanut butter is a stand-in for their values, getting slathered on everything from the messy hands of a child, leaving us to clean it up.”
