Watch: Iggy Pop shares stark new video for Lou Reed-inspired track ‘We Are The People’

A powerfully minimal clip from Pop

Iggy Pop has dropped a stark new video for his Free track, “We Are The People.”

The minimal clip sees Pop staring directly into the camera, as he sings the words to the track, reciting lines like, “We are the victims of the untold manifesto of the lack of depth.” The video fits the track perfectly, as the powerful song was derived from a poem written by Lou Reed in 1970, and today would have been his 78th birthday.
