After teasing the cover on Instagram, Lana Del Rey has soundtracked a teaser trailer for the forthcoming documentary Sublime with a cover of the 90s trio’s “Doin’ Time.”
In the clip, the moody indie jazz singer croons a cover of the hit Sublime tune, which sees Del Rey simply adding her distinctive moody sound to the trailer. The documentary flick, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, chronicles Sublime’s rise to fame and their fall after the death of frontman Bradley Nowell.
